Do not let your status in life stop you from helping others

Did you know that everyone of us has something inside to share that can help someone in their lives?  Well it's true.  In today's society people have the answers needed to change a life, but to scared to open their mouths.  In some cases people do not care or they will purposely give the wrong information.  The more you share the more people will share with you.  Lets start with one of the popular ones in the black community, the women saying I am independent.  The truth is; we should be teaching people that say that ignorant crap that we all need each other.  If you live with your mom your not independent.  If you are on housing your not independent.  If your mom watch your kids and you do not pay her you are not independent.  This is not to talk down on anyone.  I just want people to start helping each other by telling the truth.  A girl once told me, that she was independent.  The first thing to fly out my mouth was where are your kids.  Can you guess what she said?  Yeap, my momma got them.  So I said to her true independence is a myth.  We all need someone to help us to exist.  Next, if you receive child support and or the other parent is active in the child's life, your not a single parent.  You're just single.   We need to be honest that is the only way things can change.  Stop telling someone their outfit is cute  then behind their back talk about them.  If they look ratchet, tell them.  If you want to have a soul filled life help people, tell them the truth.  If they tell you something that can help you use it, apply it to your life.  This is Rodney Larkins Do not let your status in your life stop you from helping others.
